Seaside Park

Seaside Park, located on the Barnegat Barrier Island in Ocean County, New Jersey, was incorporated in 1898. Over the last 100 years, it has gone through a myriad of changes, evolving from a seasonal summer resort to a year-round community. The author, Andrew J. Anderson is among the fourth generation of his family to reside in Seaside Park. His involvement in the community includes the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission and the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Company, and his affection for his hometown is evident in this fitting tribute to its history.
